Home sweet home..(♥)

"Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession. Above all, Texas is a nation
in every sense of the word"

Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved Chicago. So, different. I wish I could of stayed for a week! We did so much in just 2 days.

So, After my little birthday party at the office. The doc gave me a hundred bucks, He asked me if I drank and then said " No, you don't drink" (if he only knew) told me to wear sunscreen and If I was to drink to have someone else drive. And I was off to the airport!

I like to say that I wasn't to fond of all my flights being delayed. I mean I already think the plane is gonna crash with me in it. So being delayed just makes me think theres something wrong with the plane and there trying to fix it before it takes off. I especially didn't like when our plane left us in Arkansas. I was stuck in that rinky dinky airport for 2 hours. Not fun. They have no view. It's just a bunch of trees. Oh and there Best of Arkansas souvenir shop only had jars of homemade jelly and little nick nacks that said Razzorbacks. I'm sorry Arkansas you can take your Razzorbacks and shove it. It's always the Longhorns with me!

(Although my heart goes out to the families who died in the flood this weekend.)

Anyways,
Lets start off with that my phone was dead most of the time and I forgot my dang camera. But, did manage to take a few pics with my phone. And had to buy disposable cameras (oh the shame) so, my pics are gonna come out crappy. For one I have bad coordination and um.. I was mostly just click click clicking like crazy.

So, the Blackhawks won the Stanley cup. And as Chicago is celebrating I'm rolling my eyes. Now I'm not a big hockey fan but my bro and is and plus and of course its from my state. I'm gonna represent no matter what. Tho I think that was AWESOME I was there while they were celebrating. I mean the whole city was wearing Blackhawks Jerseys.

This was were the Stanley cup is at.

Thursday night we went to some hot dog shack and there suppose to be rude. There was this dude who kept asking her for a chocolate milkshake and he was being all rude. I was thinking like damn this dude really wants a milkshake. Well, the lady was like here's your chocolate milkshake and popped out her boobs. I'm like WTF? It was funny.

We took Taxi's everywhere it was so packed everywhere we went. One there were celebrated the Blackhawks victory, Two-The cubs and The white soxs were playing. 3- duh it was the weekend.

Friday morning we went to a cute lil breakfast nook called Henry M.

The Shedd Aquarium- I thought it was the funniest thing the penguins had there back turned to us. And so was the sea loin. It was like there were boycotting. Remined me of the penguins from Madagascar. (heheheheh so darn cute)

The Field museum-Saw the biggest most completed dinosaur on earth. They named it Sue. I think the dinosaurs should of had some crazy ass scary name. But, na its Sue.

Randon thought-maybe the Paleontologist who discovered it named it after his wife and thought it was fitting. ahahah

The Navy Pier- Which was Awesome! Went on a speedboat tour on The Michigan Lake(one of the great lakes the 3rd biggest lake in the US.) This boat was crazy fast, It did a whole bunch of 360,180 turns and gave us a little history on the city.

(Did you know why they called it the Windy City? DUHH..Because its windy! NO SILLY! Its because you get alot of winded conversations from politics. )

We went out to eat at Harry Carry's Restaurant. (Harry Carry is a sports newscaster. Real goofy and wacky. SNL makes fun of him alot.)

Millennium Park- The little silver bean. Its a cool park to relax at.

Then we walked a good mile to The John Hancock Tower-(which was so worth it)I gotta say that was one of my favorites. They shoved a bunch of people in the elevator. I didn't realized how tall it is in till my ears popped. Sat down had a drink and enjoyed the the most amazing view in Chicago. Although I kept thinking it was gonna crumbled down. I'm really scared of heights y"all I swear I was being brave.

My Birthday 6-12-1986- It rained, Every year! Its like the Earths gift to me. Since I love the rain!

Saturday Morning- Went to the famous Gino's and tried there deep dish pizza. I'm not a big fan of Deep dish or pizza. But, you can't go to Chicago and not try there pizza! that's just all kinds of wrong. The whole setting in there was cool. You could write on the tables, walls.

The Adler Planetarium- The oldest, biggest planetarium in the US. So freaking awesome. Im all about the stars and astrology. I learned alot.

(Did you know that the Northern Star is not the brightest star.)

And this song comes to mind-

"Others who broke my heart, they were like nothern stars. pointing me on my way to loving arms."

The 900 shops mall- Went to Bloomingdales- Got my dad a fathers day present. Some Cologne. Mr. Big Ballar bought me a 100 and something $ perfume that only five stores in Chicago has them. Smells sooo good-Eau Mega Viktor @Rolf. My momma tried to take it from me. Hah I bought her Daisy by Marc Jacobs but, I kept it cause it smells so good. My sis got her Eternity summer by calvin kline. So, she's good!

The Sears Tower- One of the tallest tower in the US. Kinda scary! It takes 60 seconds to to get to the top of the sears tower.(Oprah sometimes stays there and I was hoping I could run into her. And ask her for a million dollars. but, no luck. Also, I was hoping to run into Kanye so I could tell him his last album sucked! and that there was seriously no need to cry so much. (sigh)..no luck! Seriously, My ex used to play the shit out his albums. My poor ears.WHAA WHAA WHAA)

The mall- The fifth largest mall in the US. Yee got me a shirt. Bought me some sunglasses and a bracelet.

We went out to eat at The Webber bar and grill- Webber makes grills. My fillet Mignon was yummy. Almost melts in your mouth.

Last but not least we headed off to the Casino in Indiana! I lost 40 bucks =( damn slot machines. I think I'm good at poker but, not as good as the regulars at the Casino wasn't about to risk it. All in all. My friend's roommate won 2,000 and Yee won 125. So his roommate gave me 40 that I lost and 100 for my birthday! So we all won! WINNERS! lol. We didn't get back till 5am. So I was beat!

Sunday morning- packed and off to the airport. I like to say that America Airlines are alot smoother then Southwest. Southwest is way too shaky.

Random thought-What is so good about first class. All I got was my drink faster and a blanket. No hot towels or tv, no cheese to go with my wine. So I just ordered a coke.

Anyways, I'm so very blessed to have experience Chicago and I would go back anytime. Happy I didn't have to spend my money Mr. Big Ballar took care of everything besides my souvenirs Which I Bought so many keychanges! I feel a habit forming.

Word of the day-

Tipple
1.To drink intoxicating liquor, esp. habitually or to some excess

I sure could use a tipple right now. So I could get to sleep.

P.S. Fuck BP! I saw a whole bubnch of BP stores in Chicago. Im boycotting them! BASTARDS. If those sea turtles in the gulf of TEXAS are cover in oil. YN^BRDE& I swear I will write countless vulger emails to them.

GoodNight, time to wish on a star, count some sheep and catch some zzzzz's
